THE IDEA: What is the problem being solved by your startup / business?:
Unnon is a solution to a number of problems found on social media: constant abuse, easy spread of disinformation and radicalisation through filter bubbles.
On Unnon users can protect their chats with password, but all content is visible, preventing the formation of echo chambers. Real-time translation allows for easy and open interaction with people from any part of the world or culture.
THE FOUNDER’S STORY: When and how did you come up with the idea for the business?:
I am a journalist, former head of BBC Brasil, Master of Arts in Social Media, based in London (UK).

Students, youngsters, Women, creators, media professionals, artists, travellers

Unnon is a unique social app based on chats that are visible to anyone. All chats have real-time translations of both text and audio, allowing for conversations with new people outside the user’s usual connections.
Unnon is safe and transparent, without private channels, significantly reducing the danger of dangerous conversations. Inappropriate images are immediately blocked, and any content that is reported by any user is deleted in 24 hours.
