Leumos AI is an AI-powered color grading platform that helps filmmakers, video editors, and content creators quickly color-grade footage, match shots and references, and create professional cinematic looks with less manual work.
THE FOUNDER’S STORY: When and how did you come up with the idea for the business?
I built it around a simple frustration: color grading shouldn’t take hours just to make your footage look consistent and cinematic. Leumos uses AI for shot matching, reference matching, and color correction while keeping manual controls for when you want to fine-tune the look.
WHO IS THE CUSTOMER: What is the typical profile of your target customer? Where would they be located?
Leumos AI is ideal for filmmakers, cinematographers, video editors, YouTubers, content creators, music-video creators, and anyone who wants professional-looking color without the complexity of traditional color-grading workflows.
LESSONS TO SHARE: What 3 key lessons from your startup journey you’d like to share with aspiring entrepreneurs?
Start with the problem, not the product. Build something you genuinely understand or have personally experienced. The strongest ideas often come from frustrations you’ve already faced.
Get a usable product out early. Don’t wait for everything to be perfect. Launch, let real people use it, and use their feedback to decide what actually needs improving.
Keep learning and keep shipping. Startups involve a lot of uncertainty and failed experiments. What matters is learning from each one, adapting quickly, and continuing to move forward.
