THE FOUNDER’S STORY: When and how did you come up with the idea for the business?:
Josh Hile, Co-founder & CEO, leads operations and diligence of investment opportunities for Citizen Mint. Previously, Josh was the Director of Investments at a $16 billion RIA based in Seattle where he led sourcing and diligence of manager across the private markets. He has also held the role of Manager Research Analyst at Russell Investments where he provided recommendation to Fortune 100 pension and 401k plans. Josh has both an MBA and BA in Business from the University of Washington.
Marshall Dunford, Co-founder & CTO, is co-founder and CTO of Citizen Mint. Before joining Citizen Mint, Marshall worked as a software engineer across various industries and guided multiple projects from concept to millions of active users. As employee #7 at MedBridge (200+ FTEs), he worked closely with the CEO and led the Patient Engagement team, building a core product used by healthcare professionals and patients throughout the country. In other roles, he has led initiatives to increase scalability and security, integrate large enterprise systems, and build marketing funnels across a range of mediums. Marshall has a B.S. in Informatics from the University of Washington.
