THE IDEA: What is the problem being solved by your startup / business?:
Renovation for ordinary people can indeed be challenging. There is often a feeling that construction companies are not transparent and might deceive the client. The lack of financial transparency adds to this concern.
With Gubadoo’s mobile application, we aim to address these issues by providing a user-friendly platform for financial management and project tracking. Individual users can keep a clear record of their renovation expenses and have access to detailed reports. This transparency empowers them to make informed decisions and stay in control of their project finances.
For construction companies, the application facilitates efficient management of all purchases and expenses, creating a transparent system that can be shared with clients. This transparency builds trust between the client and the contractor, alleviating concerns about financial opacity.
Our goal is to make the renovation process smoother and more transparent for everyone involved, fostering trust and better communication between clients and contractors.
THE FOUNDER’S STORY: When and how did you come up with the idea for the business?:
It sounds like you and your business partner faced challenges in managing your renovation company and keeping track of financial records. Coordinating estimates and invoices with clients can indeed be complex. To address these issues, you created a product based on the problems you experienced firsthand. By doing so, you aimed to provide a solution that simplifies financial management and enhances communication with clients. It’s impressive how your product is designed to tackle real-world challenges and offer a more streamlined approach to the renovation business.
LESSONS TO SHARE: What 3 key lessons from your startup journey you’d like to share with aspiring entrepreneurs?:
It’s common to feel hesitant before starting a new project, even when recognizing the market demand for the product. The advice here is indeed not to be afraid and to take action. Trusting your instincts and moving forward can lead to great opportunities and success.
