THE IDEA: What is the problem being solved by your startup / business?:
As gadget’s technology progress quickly every day, new technology often replace older technology. However, there are still many products utilizing older technology, users often struggle to adapt to the fast-paced evolution and are left confused and stuck between different technologies.
For example, the release of Type-C standard revolutionized the way we charge our gadgets.
However, many products are still utilizing different charging interface such as Apple’s Lightning and Micro-USB. It is nearly impossible to own just 1 type of cable and thus user will have to carry multiple cables and juggle between them every time they wanted to charge their devices.
We want to solve this issue by providing a universal and convenient solution to help user adapt to the technology and get the most out of their gadgets. Thus, we have invented Zeus-X Pro 6-in-1 Universal cable, a powerful universal cable capable of satisfying all the charging needs.
THE FOUNDER’S STORY: When and how did you come up with the idea for the business?:
I (Alex) am the founder of Futurizta Tech and the creator of Zeus-X Pro. As a young founder, I’ve just completed my Bachelor of Mechatronic Engineering at The University of Sydney last year.
My engineering background combined with my passion for tech and gadgets provided me with the knowledge and experience to develop Zeus-X Pro. During my university life as an engineer, I found Futurizta Tech in 2018 as an E-commerce company selling Futuristic gadgets from other manufacturers.
After 1 year of selling other brand’s gadgets, I’ve gathered enough experience and insight to develop my own branded universal cable (Chimera 5-in-1 Cable) by raising a Kickstarter campaign in 2019.
Having successfully raised $16,000 AUD in my first campaign, I was invited to participate in Amazon Launchpad program to Kickstart Futurizta’s global expansion. In just 1 year, I have successfully expanded Futurizta to Amazon US, AU and also Japan’s market. In 2020, I launched the Zeus-X Pro and successfully raised $117,000AUD on Kickstarter.

Multiple gadget, power user, video editor, programmer, photographer, gamers, developer, technology.
