With more than 50 million people creating and sharing content across YouTube, Twitch, TikTok and other social media platforms, the creative community is booming, and more users are joining every minute.
However, content creators have faced a common problem: finding quality music to soundtrack their videos while avoiding the big headache of copyright issues & demonetization of content.
Until now, creators have had to contend with pricey music license subscriptions or uninspiring Creative Commons music.

THE FOUNDER’S STORY: When and how did you come up with the idea for the business?:
The idea for Uppbeat comes from Lewis Foster and Matt Russell, the UK-based co-founders of Music Vine, an established music-licensing company, which has been operating for over six years.
WHO IS THE CUSTOMER: What is the typical profile of your target customer? Where would they be located?:
YouTubers, Live Streamers, Podcasters, Social Media Content Creators, Small Businesses
