THE IDEA: What is the problem being solved by your startup / business?:

Typically vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing process is a very time consuming and costlier process for any business.

And even after assessment, most providers don’t provide guarantees against cyber threats. Apart from this, most providers asks businesses to setup staging environment or perform testing directly in their production environment which could affects live customers. So the MSPs make this process complicated and challenging even for small problems!

THE FOUNDER’S STORY: When and how did you come up with the idea for the business?:

I graduated from Gujarat Technological University back in 2019 as a Computer Engineering graduate.

I applied for many jobs but somehow got selected in a company near my hometown, in Ahmedabad. In a week’s time, due to work environment and daily commute, I started having health problems.

I also had to care of my old parents in my hometown. I went to HR’s cabin and explained to her about my problems. The HR told me that you’re mixing up your personal life and professional life and also told me that you’re ruining your life by resigning from the company. The company asked me to pay Rs 20,000 to break the bond to resign!

Even though my financial condition was not good, somehow I arranged money and paid to cthe ompany by cheque!

According to me, parents are more important than any job.

I realized that I can start my own company. I started working 12 hours a day and 84 hours a week in my own company. Due to high productivity, the company has gained several clients withing 2 years.

I also hired some quality staff, and coincidentally I hired same HR to work for my company at double the salary than her previous company. Now we’re a team of 10 full time employees.

WHO IS THE CUSTOMER: What is the typical profile of your target customer? Where would they be located?:

We are targeting B2B sector and cover SMBs (small and medium businesses) mostly.

LESSONS TO SHARE: What 3 key lessons from your startup journey you’d like to share with aspiring entrepreneurs?:

I would like to recommend five key points!

1. Focus on scaling business through your expertise and how your expertise will solve real-world problems.

2. Always run with a backup and risk management plan if you’re working for a company or whether you’re running your own business.

3. Be stubborn with your vision and fight like a cornered bull who always thinks twice before attacking!

4. Stay consistent and self-motivated, never procrastinate or let your progress down.

5. Always remains up to date with market trends and market requirements.
