THE IDEA: What is the problem being solved by your startup / business?:
Many of us have thoughts and ideas throughout the day that should be written down and saved. When inspiration strikes, we need a tool that allows us to capture these ideas, to be worked on and cultivated.
However, modern tools present too many barriers when entering new notes, resulting in our valuable thoughts and ideas getting away from us. Be it that we can’t find a pen/paper, or that our software takes too long to load, and when it does load we have no idea where in the folder/file system this new note should go into.
Enter solves the problem by reducing all barriers to entry, meaning that it is always ready to capture a new thought or idea. You can rely on Enter to be simple, fast, and organized so that you can focus on what matters.
THE FOUNDER’S STORY: When and how did you come up with the idea for the business?:
Am 23 years old – Born and raised in Niagara, Ontario. In May 2021, I graduated from the University of Toronto with an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering, with a minor in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Engineering.
I started building Enter, the app, during the last year of his undergrad, and launched the company immediately following graduation.
Initially I started the project during COVID lockdown, with the humble task of building the note-taking solution that he had always wanted.
Am an avid reader of Science, Philosophy, and Spirituality, and Elon Musk’s biggest supporter. I loves writing, both via code and in a journal.
WHO IS THE CUSTOMER: What is the typical profile of your target customer? Where would they be located?:
Songwriters, Book writers, Stand-up Comedy writers, Tweet writers, Email writers.
LESSONS TO SHARE: What 3 key lessons from your startup you’d like to share with aspiring entrepreneurs?:
EnterMaurs is rooted in its application, Enter. A lightweight note-taking app on the Apple App Store. It is a mobile companion that empowers its user to rapidly capture and cultivate thoughts and ideas.
EnterMaurs is focused on customer experience, building innovative products that are delivered with customers’ best interest in mind.
