Lofti is UK’s first 3-in-1 property management platform with embedded financial products built for letting agents and portfolio landlords.

THE FOUNDER’S STORY: When and how did you come up with the idea for the business?:

My mission as founder is to simplify fragmented property workflow conducted in various software systems with significant human input in one easy to use integrated platform. I want all property owners and managers to focus on what really matters the most: growing their businesses in a sustainable matter while offering the best tenant experience.

My vision – Property ownership and management should be seamless, easy, safe and secure and provide best experience for all parties involved. I created Lofti to build a better future for the most valuable asset in the world: our homes (and investments)

WHO IS THE CUSTOMER: What is the typical profile of your target customer? Where would they be located?:

Lofti has 2 main users, property managers (either private or affiliate to a letting agent) and self managing landlords, meaning those property investors with multiple properties in their portfolio that also manage the tenants living in these properties.

Usually, this kind of users can be found either at industry and networking events or online advertising on specific niche websites

LESSONS TO SHARE: What 3 key lessons from your startup journey you’d like to share with aspiring entrepreneurs?:

First lesson – Always implement processes and procedures. As the company grow you won’t be able to scale it if you don’t have a clear process to follow

Second lesson – Always properly vet the human resources you hire, you have no clue how beneficial a single employee can be

Third lesson – Never develop something that your company doesn’t need. Always check with your users/early adopters before investing in something
