With all employees working from home, it’s become more challenging for HR, Corporate Communication and Marketing managers of companies to meet with vendors, see samples and find the right product/solution to send corporate gifts and merchandise to their employees, customers or dealers. And in these tough times, sending goodies is very vital to keeping the moral high.
That’s why, we created The Corporate Gift Show, where we demonstrate a new, innovative corporate gift idea, every single day.
THE FOUNDER’S STORY: When and how did you come up with the idea for the business?:
Srikanth has been running a corporate gifting company since 16 years. And there were times in the past when he would send a product video to a client when it was not possible to meet.
With the pandemic, there were no more opportunities to meet. That’s why he created The Corporate Gift Show on 14th Feb 2021.
WHO IS THE CUSTOMER: What is the typical profile of your target customer? Where would they be located?:
Managers in HR, Corporate Communication, Marketing, Admin in large companies(500+ employees). Most such companies are based in metros and other big cities. But now, everyone is working from home. A lot of them have moved back to their home towns.
LESSONS TO SHARE: What 3 key lessons from your startup journey you’d like to share with aspiring entrepreneurs?:
1. Videos are extremely powerful.
2. If your clients stop coming to you, go to where they are.
3. Be consistent with your efforts.
