Serena Williams’ two-year-old daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr, could be earning just under £2000 pounds per post and £3000 per video uploaded on her Instagram page, according to a new study.

Williams, the most successful female tennis player of all time, made the back pages in 2017 when it was announced that she actually competed and won a Grand Slam whilst eight-weeks pregnant with Alexis.

The Instagram page was created over two years ago when Alexis was just a baby and in that time, she has accumulated a following of over 600,000 while being managed by Serena and Alexis Ohanian.

With a following of this size, young Alexis could potentially earn more by posting one sponsored video than an average UK nurse would make in a month.

OLBG scoured the popular platform to find out how much money the offspring of our sporting heroes could be making from their own Instagram pages in comparison to their prominent parents.

Insta Fam shows you the total following and potential earnings per follower, post, video, and story of some of the most famous sports stars alongside their children, who are also benefiting from the money involved in social media.

LeBron James Jr, a 15-year-old high school basketball player, is the most followed on our list, boasting an impressive 3.4 million Instagram followers.

Although he’s still around 50 million behind his dad LeBron James, who plays in the NBA for Los Angeles Lakers and is considered by many as the greatest Basketball player of all time.

His eldest son is expected to have a career in the NBA also, meaning his following is only likely to grow.

LeBron Jnr’s current social media following could earn the 15-year-old over £11,000 per post and £16,000 per video uploaded – meaning the high school student could earn more than the average UK salary in just two Instagram posts.

Some of the listed offspring have become sports stars in their own right, namely Mick Schumacher (Formula 2), Scottie Pippen Jr (Basketball) and Chris Eubank Jr (Boxing).

Schumacher is a 20-year-old Formula 2 driver and the son of Michael Schumacher, the record seven-time winner of the Formula 1 World Drivers’ Championship and a legend of the sport.

However, his son, Mick, who has yet to achieve anything major in the sport, boasts over 189,000 followers more and can earn £614 more per post than the most successful driver in the history of the sport.

One sponsored post on his Instagram account would bag the young driver more than the average UK police officer makes in a month.
