THE IDEA: What is the problem being solved by your startup / business?:
Do you know this frustration when searching for a software developer job, you have to struggle and dig very deep in order to find something interesting and worth keeping your eye on? You open the job posting, and there is nothing, but a simple description you can’t get anything out of. And of course, there is no salary info because ‘’we offer a very competitive pay”.
THE FOUNDER’S STORY: When and how did you come up with the idea for the business?:
How it all started? As software engineers ourselves, we’ve been tired of using the existing job boards.
Most of them have the same issues:
- Hard to search and filter to get relevant results.
- Lots of buzzwords and no real information about the tech stack, methodologies, etc.
- No upfront visible salaries!
- Hard to read job descriptions because each company has their own way of doing things.
- Bunch of recruiters and no real companies.
StackOverflow Job Board was actually quite good in solving these problems, but as you probably know – it’s gone since 1st of April
But we have an alternative for you, which we worked on for the past few years.
WHO IS THE CUSTOMER: What is the typical profile of your target customer? Where would they be located?:
Our portal is not only for Developers but for everyone working in the IT industry: Engineers, SAP and System Admins, Product Managers, QAs and UX/UI Designers!
