Current ways of texting and scheduling video calls are way too time consuming and inefficient.
Teams end up over indexing on ‘informal’ communication via text (ie Slack fatigue) or ‘formal’ communication via video calls (ie Zoom fatigue).
THE FOUNDER’S STORY: When and how did you come up with the idea for the business?:
Junu started Presence out of his frustrations working w/ remote teams out of Seoul, Korea the last ~6 years.
He has led the design and launch of multiple venture-scale products with millions of users—including a Korean music streaming app (Melon) w/ 6M+ MAU and a local foodie app (Mangoplate) w/ 3M+ MAU.
Before Presence, Junu bootstrapped and ran an audio-visual user feedback SaaS called UserLook.
