Mishi improves your wellbeing through therapeutic music, sound exploration and captivating motion visuals.
THE FOUNDER’S STORY: When and how did you come up with the idea for the business?:
I started Mishi when i realised there were no music solutions, which allowed me to fully customise my music for relaxation and sleep purposes. The product has evolved into 14 therapeutic and healing music categories. We do not offer ‘guided’ meditation or stories. This engagement with a relaxation app is counter intuitive in our view. Rather everyone can customise the music combinations to suit their needs and relax with soothing sounds and motion imagery.
WHO IS THE CUSTOMER: What is the typical profile of your target customer? Where would they be located?:
Our customers come from all walks of life. Everyone has a wellness story to tell, and we are here to support everyone who is in need of rejuvenation.
LESSONS TO SHARE: What 3 key lessons from your startup journey you’d like to share with aspiring entrepreneurs?:
Don’t try to compete head on with existing established brands in the B2C space, unless your have oodles of cash.
Don’t deviate from your path, and don’t add endless functionality. Do it simple, do it well. Let your customers determine your future path.
