THE IDEA: What is the problem being solved by your startup/business?:
90% of all startups fail – rather sooner or later. A big proportion of those never gets their product done, even if they have a capable developer. Founders need a competent CTO (not just a great developer!) to get them to the market.
Many startups fail to find any CTO at all. Many other startups find a developer who is not able to strategically advise them. In turn, we’ve seen many sad stories of great ideas never getting to market even if significant money was invested.
Bringing 2-3 startups to the market every single month has given us a very unique experience: as a specialised company for startups we not only have developers trained specifically to build focused products really fast with a scalable architecture but we also find that just spending few hours with us often helps many founders avoid months of work by smartly deploying their resources and building on our experience.
THE FOUNDER’S STORY: When and how did you come up with the idea for the business?:
Lasse Schuirmann, 26, is a serial entrepreneur from Hamburg who has founded 5 startups, a nonprofit and an open source project to date.
Lasse and the VIPERdev team are mainly driven by impact. Because of that he prefers bootstrapping startups with little money, growing them on their own without the need to pull in investors and become reliable on outside finds, possibly loosing the original vision.
