As the CEO of Facebook, he can be credited for creating a social network that has more monthly active users than the population of any single country in the world. But last year he faced numerous scandals.

  • 2018 saw Zuckerberg’s biggest google search interest for a whole decade – last year was full of set-backs for this tech billionaire.

  • Facing a scandalous data breach on Facebook, Zuckerberg faced Congress on issues over user privacy. A few months later the CEO lost over $15 billion of his wealth in a single day

  • Zuckerberg’s personal affairs see the second and third highest spike in google searches in the last decade – with the first taking place in 2012 when Zuckerberg married Priscilla Chan and the second being the announcement of his baby girl

  • 2010 saw search interests spike dramatically, and this time it was to celebrate Zuckerberg’s professional achievements – the billionaire had doubled his fortune overnight to $9 billion after a huge cash rejection from Goldman Sachs
