THE IDEA: What is the problem being solved by your startup / business?:
Sourcing product to sell online is hard, takes time and is expensive. We fix that problem with the worlds’ first AI-driven Reverse Sourcing Platform that automatically matches existing products currently on the market with their supplier/manufacturer.
THE FOUNDER’S STORY: When and how did you come up with the idea for the business?:
When I after being affected by the Covid crisis decided to start selling products online. Me and my partner were spending hours trying to find a product that would fit our needs with quality, profit margin and demand. It could easily take up to eight working hours to find one suitable product.
Thanks to Revam these eight hours are cut down to a few minutes.
WHO IS THE CUSTOMER: What is the typical profile of your target customer? Where would they be located?:
Online merchants, shopify store owners, 3rd party sellers on marketplaces or just the brick and mortar stores looking for new product lines.
LESSONS TO SHARE: What 3 key lessons from your startup journey you’d like to share with aspiring entrepreneurs?:
1. Software development takes time, especially building never-seen-before software.
2. Find a solid co-founding team or partner.
3. Use your network to your benefit, ask questions and try to contribute to other founders when you get the chance.
